This past weekend we made another long trek back down I-15 from Montana to Utah. Yes, I think we have come almost every month this past year! We were able to spend the entire weekend with Grandma Shelley (not something we get to do too often). It was so much fun. My sister came down with her 3 kids and we just shopped, ate and played. We spent the first day of our trip doing non-stop shopping (almost non-stop). The next day, we took the kids to Black Island Farms, in Syracuse, UT, for a corn maze and sliding fun. The kids really enjoyed the slides, but the maze was a bit difficult for them to really enjoy...maybe next year. Max got it into his head that someone was hiding in the corn to chase us with chainsaws. Not sure where he got that idea...anyone?
Zoe and Riley had a great time together. Zoe was convinced she was the "older sister" and could therefore boss Riley around. At least Riley took it well (for the most part). These two were not sure about having their pitcure taken together. They seemed too shy to act like they loved each other as sisters. Take a look...

Looks like lots of fun. I wish we could have joined you. We miss family most of all. I am going to make your Amish oatmeal right now. It sounds good for lunch. I will tell you how it turns out.
PS. I can't believe how big Max and Zoe are getting. Tell them to slow down a bit.

Your kids are getting so big! Max is huge! He is going to be in high school soon! J/k. I remember when you were very pregnant with him and we went to get our toes done. Now he is all grown. Kinda sad.
