Zoe at the Game!
Wednesday, July 9, 2008
Well I am getting a lot of negative feedback about my sporatic blogging. I have re-committed myself to keeping this thing up-to-date. So here is a brief summary of the things we have done in the past few months.
May 2008
May was a great time for us. We were able to go to Utah about mid-month and spend some time with family. I ran the Ogden 1/2 Marathon, Yeah! My time was not what you call competitive, but it was good for me since my training consisted of running maybe twice a week for a couple of months prior to the race. I ran with some friends from Great Falls, which made it even better. A nod should go out to Shannon Ross for being an ultra-athelete. She rocked that race in a superb time! Another nod to Erin Vorkink, who had a baby in September and kicked "asphault"! I will never be able to keep up with you. Thanks to George Ross for sticking it out with me till the end. You will forever be my runnin' mate!
I was able to spend time with my sisters and mom for a girls weekend that same trip. We had a great time and if you need to see pics from then, check out my little sis's blog at thecorrychronicles.blogspot.com.
June 2008
June proved to be a slow month for us. In early June, Alex did a bike race here in Great Falls that happened to be the Montana State Road Biking Championship. I am sure you can all guess that he rocked it! Yes people, I am married to the 2008 MONTANA STATE ROAD BIKING CHAMPION!
Max finished Kindergarten on June 6. I cannot believe he is going to be in 1st grade this fall. It really does seem like yesterday he was just my tiny baby. Anyway, here are some pics from his little class presentation. They made puppets and did a puppet show about Fairy Tales. His group did Rumpelstilzskin (sp?).
Zoe...well what can I say. She keeps me smiling. She loves the color blue. So naturally everything she wears has to be that color. She really does think she is a boy and thus we purchase many boy t-shirts in blue to keep her happy. Here is a picture of her favorite. She cut a hole in the back with her scissors (for ventilation, I guess). However, she still loves it and wears it as often as I will wash it (which is almost everyday).
We did not go back to Utah until the last few days of June and stayed until the 6th of July. It was an amazing trip! I will post pics later when I get them from Grandma.
July 2008
Not much to report as of yet. I can however tell you that I am ready for my sweet little ones to start school.

Is there a Doctor in the house?
Calling all doctors. I think we have a future doc. on our hands. The kids were playing dress up this afternoon and I just had to take a picture of "lil' miss" in her outfit. Move over Grandpa, I think she will give you a run for your money. She checked my heart and said it was "all better". I sure am glad to have live-in care. It might save my life someday.
I SAID IT'S COOOLLDD UP HERE!
Well it has been a while since my last posting. I would love to say we have been very busy, but we really haven't. I am just lazy! Anyway, this is what we received over the weekend (o.k. in less than 24 hours). We got about 3 feet of snow. On our back deck there was probably 4 feet drifts. When we woke up Monday morning we were welcomed by -2 temp. Did I mention that it is April 21st? I am sure many of you are really jealous as your winter ended several weeks ago. Ours, however, is in full swing. We are expecting high temps. in the low to mid 40's this week with the chance of more snow on Wednesday and Thursday. Anyone want to visit? Oh, and check out what Zoe picked for an outfit. She loves her shorts, no matter the weather. Below is looking out my back patio under the deck. If you look hard you can see Sasha's leash stake poking up from the snow, which shows how deep it was under the deck.
Anyway, I thought it was sad as last weekend we enjoyed 78 degrees. This was quite the jump in temperature. Oh well, maybe spring is coming soon. I will keep you "posted". (Ha ha)
